Jordan Czamanski is a recording artist and record producer, born in 1975 in Columbus, Ohio, and now residing in Toronto, Ontario.

In a professional career spanning over two decades, Jordan has written and produced dozens of highly acclaimed albums, EPs and singles ranging in style from underground techno to ambient jazz and from synthesizer music to post-rock all while sharing a strong sense of originality, playfulness and genre-bending. These productions have appeared on many of the most highly regarded international record labels in their scenes. Jordan has also composed and performed soundtracks for films, art and music installations and a modern ballet across Europe, where for 20 years he was living in Amsterdam.

Outside the studio, Jordan has regularly played his music at world-renowned festivals, nightclubs and theaters around the globe. This work has been as both a solo artist under the name Jordan GCZ and as part of an array of groups and collaborations. He has regularly performed fully improvised live electronic hardware shows and DJed as one half of electronic duo Juju & Jordash and one third of the improvisational band Magic Mountain High. His solo work has been described as having “a rare sense of melodic intensity and subtle experimentalism," while Jordan has been named “one of techno's most beloved improvisers." In 2013, he founded his own label, Off Minor Recordings, which has released a strand of records recognized for “refreshingly different, gently challenging output.”

These days surrounded by a collection of vintage synthesizers and gear in his Toronto studio, Jordan is dedicated to writing and producing new music and expanding his discography with genre-defying material. He recently released a highly praised solo album as well as albums with beloved German ambient-techno originator David Moufang and with Detroit techno legend Terrence Dixon.
